April BKK Trip
Finally post it up after 3 months!
Still rmb the morning when we were leaving out house with luggage at 4 am or so.
And we were discussing whether we looked like we are running away from home
Here she is, drawing while waiting to board the plane!
Check in to Diamond City hotel
Sawadee Ka, Welcome to our room!
The toilet with a bathtub which we didn't use and a full length mirror on the door!
Our mini balcony
Our first lunch at a nearby duck noodle stall
Doesn't look appetizing enough buy taste good!
So we took train towards Chatuchak market!
When we went it was already in a state of emergency
Thus as expected . . .
Look super chui, with only 1 hour of sleep the night before
Another view from the top of the train station
We spent the whole afternoon shopping at Chatuchak!
Was totally drained and we went back to our hotel to wash up
and place our shopping loots
took a cab and kinda got cheated saying Chinatown is closed due to the riots etc...
So he drive us to this seafood restaurant, Well. . .We ordered Tomyam soup! The base is best lah, so thick
I am craving for it now!
We also ordered pineapple riceeeee, it's really nice
(People who know me knows that I don't usually eat pineapple rice,
neither do I drink tomyam soup!)Went back and rest to recharge our battery for more shopping on Day 2!
Day 2Basically we just took cab and they sent us to this jewelery factory
(Cause they can get vouchers for sending customers there)
Thank goodness Andrew knew Thai and we just have to go one round and come out and
the cab driver would sent us to our destination.
We went to Platinum almost everyday and did not return with empty hands! But empty wallet though =(
I forgot why and where I took this picture!
We then had this steamboat dinner which Jolene recommended!
This restaurant is really cute, when the music starts, the staffs would put down the tasks they are doing, and dance along with the music! All we have to do is clap!
Woohoo, Foods here
The restaurant icon cum tissue paper holder.
Isn't it cute?
Not until you see this ....
How about a lookalike? heheheWe were all laughing so hard!
Wee, desserts arrived!
Shopped in this book store after dinner
as sis wanted to buy a Thai translation book.
We also found these
While walking back to the hotel, Sis took this pic
as the car is really unique and antique! P.s: Day 3-5 coming up next ;) Field Trip to farm
Went to Sembawang's Oh Chin Huat hydroponic farm
The whole Trip took about 1.5 hours only
But it was a blessing as the kids were seriously worn out
and slept soon after their shower and lunch
The staff showing the types of 'breakfast' nutrients the plants take in
Pretty Jap roses, Bought 2 pots back!
P.s: Didn't bring my camera and pics are taken using my phone thus the low quality我知道Acc sis to Bbdc to register and the counter staff asked whether we are twins?
It's been a long time since the last person commented we look alike
Not only her, my sis friend who happen to see us at Bbdc also said
we look alike
Oh well Oh well...
Went over to Cck for kbox with Tyr & yvonne!
Hug hug tyr when I saw her, but both of us share the same sentiments
We don't feel as if we have not seen each other for 7 weeks
But in fact we feel as if we just met yesterday
Luckily the staffs there provided us with 2 blankets else we would freeze to death
(Exaggerate abit)
Not forgetting, the environment and renovations are done well!
Different from normal Kbox outlets
Anyhow, here's some pictures as usual =)
The necklaces & bracelets Tyr bought for us
Biscuits which are super yummy!
Ever seen before Red Wine pocky with red wine filling?
Look at these 2, so not sporting.
Bag from Bei Jing as well!
