Day 1
Mentor spoke to us and can see that she's really a strict mentor!
Luckily I didn't say I don't intend to become a preschool teacher
because she said people who don't are wasting TAX PAYERS MONEY!
That's the first thing . . .
Secondly, she request us to do a DAILY reflection and submit to her
(Which is not what the school expects us to do!)
Next, they didn't provide us with lunch (Which most centres do)*
Fourthly, the mentor introduce us to the children by telling them we are *Jiejie*
Which is not allowed according to our school's regulations
What's more, she even sent 1 of my attachment mate back
Bacause she has eczema (wonder whether how she's doing now)
Anyway, she attached me to the K1/K2s.
The kids were outgoing and fun to be with
Best of all, I had no problem communicating with them *Thumbs up*
It was quite an eye opener for me as I experienced a total different setting
From a normal one to the montessori one
They even have speech and drama classes for the kids
Day 2
I was attached to the N1/N2s for today
Trying hard to remember their names and trying to bond with them
Also had a hard time catching up with them as they are duper active
Running here and there, screaming here and there
Today they even had multi-media class and kindermusic class
Cool ya! Enjoyed myself and the time seems to pass quite quickly
Hope it maintain this way and my attachment life would feel pass soon
